Court Denies Bail To Suspects In Ashaiman Soldier’s Murder

The Ashaiman Circuit Court has denied bail to key suspects arrested by the police in connection with the killing of the young soldier, Trooper Imoro Sherrif.

Trooper Imoro Sherrif was found dead at Taifa, a suburb of Ashaiman on March 4, 2023.

According to prosecutor, Supt. Sylvester Asare, investigations will be impeded when the key suspects are let go. 

The police confirmed the murder of Trooper Imoro Sherrif, and later released a letter on Sunday March 11, detailing what led to the death of the young soldier.

The Police went on a week of sustained intelligence-led operations, which resulted in arresting six key suspects.
