Five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, is Prohibited from playing his debut for Al Nassr against Al-Ta’ee following his record setting transfer.
In the English Premier League, Cristiano Ronaldo was handed two matches ban and a fine from FIFA after an incident which occurred between the player and a young Everton supporter at Goodison Park.
The former Real Madrid attacker knocked down a phone from the youngster’s hand in an outburst of disappointment following Manchester United’s 1-0 defeat to Everton.
According to Daily Mail, Ronaldo is ineligible to play his debut against Al-Ta’ee since he is yet to serve the ban for previous misconduct whilst at former club.
Ronaldo, 37, signed a two-year deal with the Saudi Arabian club, Al Nassr, after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract with Manchester United.
He is set to earn £173 million-a-year, making him the highest-paid sportsperson in the world.
Ronaldo arrived in Riyadh on Monday to undergo a medical ahead of completing his move.
