Declan Rice Bid To Leave West Ham. Next To Arsenal Or Bayern?
English professional footballer, Declan Rice will leave West Ham after winning the UEFA Conference Championship as captain — time to go with bids incoming.
Statement from the chairman of West Ham says the player has purposed in heart to leave as Rice declined 200,000-a-week bid 18 months ago.
“We have promised Declan Rice he could go. He set his heart on going — as he rejected our £200,000-a-week bid 18 months ago, I think offers will start to come today”, chairman Sullivan said.
First runner up of the just ended season, Arsenal have already decided last month to submit an official proposal after the final which will be sent very soon.
Granit Xhaka’s deal remains in place with Bayer Leverkusen to be completed as the German club are in advanced talks to sign the midfielder for €15m (£13m). Xhaka, 30, has contract with Arsenal which expires in June 2024 and there are no negotiations over an extension
Bayern want Declan Rice as Tuchel is big fan but feeling is that the midfielder holds a priority to remain in England.
There is currently still nothing agreed or sealed at this stage — race remains open for other clubs.
