Foreign Affairs Ministry Announces Efforts To Clear Backlogs Of Passport Applications

ACCRA, 17TH AUGUST, 2023 – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has taken significant steps to address the backlog of passport applications and streamline the passport application process. In a bid to expedite the clearance of pending applications, the Ministry has announced a special initiative targeting individuals with urgent passport needs.

The Ministry is actively encouraging applicants with emergency cases to reach out to its dedicated Client Service Unit for assistance. Interested individuals are requested to provide their contact details and transaction IDs when contacting the Ministry via the following channels:
