The Assistant Headmaster (Academic), Mr. Charles Akwasi Aidoo, was removed from office by the Ghana Education Service (GES) after the video surfaced on social media.

In a statement dated Monday, September 29, GES said it viewed the incident with the utmost seriousness, emphasizing that it is committed to protecting students and safeguarding the integrity of the teaching profession.

“Mr. Aidoo has already been removed from office and barred from entering the school premises while investigations continue. Due process will be followed, and appropriate disciplinary measures will be taken in line with the GES code of conduct,” the statement read.

The Service further assured the public, parents, and stakeholders that it remains steadfast in upholding the highest standards of professionalism, discipline, and child protection in schools, while strongly condemning acts that endanger the safety and dignity of students.
