The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, has disclosed that her ministry is working closely with the Ghana Police Service to ensure the arrest of the dismissed Assistant Headmaster of KNUST Senior High School who was captured in a viral video in a compromising situation with a female student.

Dr. Lartey gave the update when Vice President Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang paid a courtesy call on her at the ministry on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

“The recent issue involves the report of the female student at KNUST with the assistant headmaster. Although the Ghana Education Service has already dismissed him, we are collaborating with the police to effect his arrest,” she stated.
