Ghanaian singer Gyakie has opened up about how she handles friendships and relationships, revealing that she has become more careful about who she allows into her life.
In a recent radio interview in South Africa, Gyakie shared that her experiences in the music industry have made her more cautious. She explained that some people don’t come into her life out of genuine love but rather to take advantage of her.
“I opened my circle a little bit, but now I’ve closed it, locked it, and thrown the key away,” she said. “Like, I’m not into that anymore.”
Gyakie admitted that she used to be more open, but past experiences have made her more protective of her personal space. She now carefully chooses who she trusts.
Speaking about romantic relationships, the singer noted that they are even more complicated because it’s hard to know people’s true intentions. “When it comes to relationships, it’s not a joke because you don’t really know who really loves you,” she said.
Her words reflect the challenges many celebrities face when trying to build genuine connections in an industry where trust can be difficult to find.
