The East African club in Kenya, Nairobi City Stars, have sent a blinking light call to Cristiano Ronaldo following the Portuguese’s mutual agreement to part ways with Manchester United.
Manchester United posted via club statement on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 that they have terminated the contract of Cristiano on mutual terms. This happened after a controversial interview Ronaldo granted to speak about United’s coach and the club as a whole.
Cristiano Ronaldo also issued a statement to confirm his departure from the club and wished them well.
Nairobi City stars posted “Hey hey @Cristiano” in a Twitter post as soon as Ronaldo departed from United to signal their readiness to accommodate the five times Ballon d’Or awards winner.
Meanwhile, Nairobi City Stars are currently 17th on the Kenyan Premier League table after just a match played. They have considered two goals with no point to boast of.
