“I Married for Myself, Not For Anyone” – Prof Dominic Fobih Says After Marrying 31-Year-Old Lady At 80
Former minister of Education, Professor Dominic Fobih, has trended after marrying a 31-year-old woman. After this matrimony, some social media users alleged that that was his ninth marriage.
The former Member of Parliament for Assin South, 80, danced in a video with his young wife, who appeared in a white and gold beaded-laced corset gown. The couple lovely moved their bodies to the song ‘Fatia Fata Nkrumah’ by Dada KD.
According to the former minister, he has only one wife and that he does not care about what people rumour around.
“I don’t have nine wives, I have one wife, I just got married. I didn’t have a wife before so I’ve just got married. Who in Ghana has nine wives. If anybody is commenting on nine wives the person has been misled”, Prof. Dominic Fobih said on Star FM to clarify his stance on taking a young wife at 80.
He further said his marriage was a “strong-willed” decision for himself but not for the masses.
“I know why I’m doing this and so they can tell all sort of things. I didn’t marry for anybody, I married for myself,” He added.
