Recently published author Yvonne Nelson’s book has generated excitement on social media. In some of the book’s excerpts, Yvonne describes how Sarkodie abandoned her when she became pregnant for him.
He said that she was too young and enrolled in school to raise the child. She thus had to have an abortion.
She experienced some side effects following the treatment, though, which caused her to bleed heavily for several days.
Sarkodie was the one who caused the pregnancy, yet he never helped her or even followed up with her after having the abortion.
On social media, Yvonne’s admission sparked conflict. While some people were horrified by Sarkodie’s behavior, others, like Shatta Wale, think he is innocent. Shatta Wale said in a series of tweets that Sarkodie was still too young and innocent to engage in vices.
