I Watch Arsenal Every Weekend Because Of Partey, He Is Brilliant — Yaya Toure

Former Ivory Coast and Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has poured praises on Arsenal’s Thomas Partey, labeling him as the most decorated midfielder in the premier league.

According to Toure, he would have missed weekend’s premier league matches of league leaders Arsenal but for the brilliance of Thomas Partey, he always prefers to watch. He emphasized that he watches Arsenal’s matches just to see Partey play.

Yaya Toure on Thomas Partey: “Yeah he’s brilliant, it’s really nice to see. I think now every weekend when Arsenal have to play, I have to be honest, I would go just to watch him. He’s just unbelievable.”

Meanwhile, Arsenal have struggled in the few matches Partey has missed due to injuries. Talking about his injuries, the Ghanaian international has said that he is now adapting to the English side football after moving from Spanish La Liga. 

“I think it’s adaption. If you go from a different league, normal things happen. I am working on everything, I am trying my best. I am trying to help the team any time I can. When I am ready and fit, I will be ready to help the team”, Thomas Partey has said.

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal currently sit five points clear at the top of the Premier League table followed by rivals Manchester City and then Manchester United. They were on the verge of losing points against Bournemouth but they fought 2 goals down to win 3-2 to secure the maximum three points.
