I’m Not Here To Give Each Player Minutes, I’m Here To Win Games – Ancelotti on Hazard
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has responded to the question asked by many football lovers and pundit on why he has outrightly overlooked the Belgian Eden Hazard during games.
According to the Italian football manager who has been with La Liga club Real Madrid since July 2021, he signed for Madrid to select the best eleven starters to win matches, but not to be emotional and dash every player minutes to play. To him, playing time must be earned.
“I’m not here to give each player minutes, I’m here to win games. I put the best starting eleven to win games”,
“I don’t look at how much a player earns or his age, it’s just about performances”, Ancelotti told ElevenBeNL
Eden Hazard signed for Real Madrid from Chelsea on July 2019 at a fee of €115 million. The former Belgian captain has been struggling since joining the La Casa Blanca.
