Ade Adeayo also tweeted with a video, “The situation on ground. Almost 2am and Burna Boy’s concert is basically yet to start.

“Some people have been around since 9pm. For an artist with the highest level of international exposure, this is beyond terrible and unprofessional.”

Burna Boy, in his apology denied the reports that he made a later entry for the event.

He explained by stating that there was an issue with his audio and he had an option to leave his fans but he chose to wait for the audio to be fixed.

“Let’s be clear. I wasn’t late, my band wasn’t late. We pride ourselves on being highly professional especially with our stage craft. There were three options available to me; wait for audio to be fixed and delay the show, come out at upm as planned with no sound or call breach of contract and pull the plug”

The artist further chastised organisers for the delay and further opened up about plans to work on building world-class infrastructure in the Nigerian entertainment business.

“I know I can’t go all over the world and neglect my own people so I’m taking matters into my own hands! I’m gathering the troops to work on building world class infrastructure in the Nigerian entertainment business.” — Burna Boy stated.

There’s an obvious sound issue at this concert.

So it’s either there was no sound check or the organizers messed everything up.

Either way, there’s strict liability on the part of the organizers.
