Lasmid Leaves Highly Spiritual Music — Kaywa Confirms [Details]

Kaywa Confirms Lasmid Has Parted Ways With Highly Spiritual Music

Music producer, David Kojo Kyei, commonly known as Kaywa has confirmed that Lasmid has parted ways with his Record label, Highly Spiritual Music.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the label, Kaywa, said this in an interview with Andy Dosty on Adom Fm. The music engineer stated that the ‘Friday Night’ hit maker had the intentions of leaving even before this year’s VGMA.

According to Kaywa, the conversation between both parties became a ‘back-and-forth’ banter but an agreement has finally been made to separate.

“There’s a story behind it but I don’t think it’d be appropriate to talk about it now… we show a lot of respect to the listeners but at the right time the truth will come out” Kaywa responded to Andy Dosty’s question”, Kaywa said.

Lasmid Nathaniel Owusu from Takoradi gained recognition in Ghana after was crowned winner of the MTN Hitmaker Season 8. He is best known for the viral song Friday Night which made waves in most parts of Africa and the world.
