Lightning Kills JHS 2 Girl, 15 Years, At Odumase
A giant spark of electrifying lightning has killed a 15-year-old girl in the Brong Region of Ghana.
The sad event which sent the family into shock and mourning on May, 15, 2023, was accompanied by heavy downpour.
According to co-tenants, the deceased, Evelyn Agyenim Boateng, who was a JHS two pupil of Odumase Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Primary and Junior High School in the Sunyani West Municipality met her untimely death when preparing evening meal for her family in the house.
“I received a distress call that my daughter is unwell, but when I rushed to the hospital, I saw her body lying prostrate at the mortuary with multiple bruises around the breast area,” he stated.” — Mr Kwadwo Owusu Aduomi, the father of the girl sadly expressed when he was responding to an interview by representatives of Ghana New Agency.
