Nana Abena Etruba, also known as Mrs. Miracle Adoma, has provided a crucial update regarding the health of her husband, journalist Kofi Adoma, following his recent eye injury.
In a statement, Mrs. Adoma clarified inaccuracies from an interview granted by Mubarak Yakubu on Peace FM. She emphasized that while Yakubu is their son, he is not Kofi Adoma’s Personal Assistant or Public Relations Officer, and therefore, some of the details he shared were incorrect.
She confirmed that Kofi Adoma has undergone some successful medical procedures in Dubai but noted that he is still in the recovery process. “We are however not out of the woods yet, so we ask for your prayers,” she stated.
Additionally, she addressed misinformation regarding the cost of the surgery, indicating that the accurate total will only be shared once treatment is fully completed. “The primary focus now is saving my husband’s eyes,” she stressed.
Mrs. Adoma also extended her gratitude to key individuals who have supported her husband during this challenging period. She acknowledged Dr. Kwaku Oteng for his financial and moral support, frequent checkups, and personal visits. She also expressed appreciation for businessman Ibrahim Mahama, who has also been highly supportive.
She concluded by thanking the public for their concern and requested privacy as they focus on Kofi Adoma’s recovery.
Kofi Adoma sustained his eye injury after being hit by a traditional gun while covering a cultural event in Dormaa.
