Hajia Ramatu Sharubutu, the beloved spouse of the Chief Imam, breathed her last in the early hours of Wednesday, March 27, 2024. Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu reflected on the profound grief gripping the Chief Imam.
While the news has undoubtedly shaken the Chief Imam, Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu assured listeners that he remains psychologically stable and resolute in spirit. Drawing strength from his faith and bolstered by the support of family and friends, the Chief Imam is bravely navigating this challenging time.
The spokesperson revealed that in accordance with Islamic customs, a Janazah prayer and burial will be held promptly at 2 pm for the late Hajia Ramatu. The solemn ceremony will take place at the Chief Imam’s residence. Sympathizers and well-wishers are urged to gather at 1 pm to participate in the prayer and extend their condolences to the grieving family.
