Vice President Bawumia Commends 2023 WASSCE Achievements Amidst Criticism
In response to former President John Mahama’s recent allegations of exam malpractices, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia took to Facebook on Thursday morning to encourage the 2023 WASSCE candidates and defend their hard-earned achievements.
Bawumia addressed the students directly, advising them not to let anyone belittle their accomplishments. In a post, he stated, “Not everyone can appreciate what it takes to be an intelligent student. You have earned the excellent performances by dint of hard work. God bless you.”
Acknowledging the collective effort of students, teachers, and parents, Bawumia extended his congratulations to all WASSCE candidates for their outstanding performance in the 2023 examinations. Despite the ongoing debate about the integrity of the education system, Bawumia emphasized the students’ dedication, attributing their success to hard work.
“This is no doubt the result of hard work and dedication by all of you. You have made Ghana proud, and I wish you the very best as you move on to greater challenges,” Dr Bawumia wrote in his Facebook post.
The Vice President’s message aimed to uplift and encourage the students amidst the controversy surrounding the education system, highlighting the importance of their efforts and the pride they brought to the nation.
