Kwame Asare Obeng (A Plus) who is a hiplife artist with keen interest in politics and social issues, has recounted that the sitting government, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is responsible for the sack of Teacher Kwadwo. In his speech, he stated that,
“Teacher Kwadwo made these statements under John Mahama but still kept his job. Nobody went after him.
Today he is only asking for better teaching and learning condition for all and he has been sacked by the same GES he has been fighting for. The sad thing is that, some of the Ghanaians he is fighting for will say he talks too much because when NPP IS IN POWER, talking is illegal”
Kwame A Plus first made a name for himself singing about events leading to and after Ghana’s 2000 general elections.
