Ghana’s finest stand up comedians, Lekzy DeComic, OB Amponsah, Jeneral Ntatia, Alo Wess, Jerry Ashinyo, Oh Joo and Ebenezer Dwomoh gave an unforgettable hilarious performance at the maiden Kwahu Easter Comedy Show dubbed: ‘Episodes of Laughter’.

The almost sold-out comedy show which was organised by Creative Republic saw patrons cracking rips off with tearful laughters as the comedians performed singularly following one after the other with their uniquely ingenious lines of comedy.

The event was held at the Catholic Parish Hall, Nkawkaw, on Easter Monday, April 10, 2023.

Ebenezer Dwomoh, who doubled as the MC of the show set the performances rolling with an introductory cracker which did the magic of enticing all people present to be glued to their seats for the subsequent performances. He added dance moves to his stage craft, sending smiles in the faces of dance lovers.

Comedian Alo Wess initially had a hat on when he mounted the stage for his performance. He sent everyone laughing to the brim with some almost falling from their seats when he removed his hat to display his shiny bald head. His performance could have been enough for the day but Lekzy and others were charging up back stage.

Oh Joo, Jerry, Jeneral Ntatia and Lekzy as usual of them, sent a lot of people flopping off to the sides with loud laughters as they skillfully dropped adult comedy lines. The most amazing part of their performances was them synchronizing every comic line with deserving role play, gestures and actions.

OB Amponsah made the final performance starting his lines with how some DJ’s can lie on radio. Patrons responded positively to his display to the extent that they did not want him to end the session which was deep into after 12:00am.

Comedians mingled with fans as they took photos and videos with them at the end of the entire session.

The organizer, Mr. Dennis Boateng appreciated sponsors, the organising team and all and sundry who made the day possible. He later hinted on making the show an annual event.
