OFFICIAL: Atsu’s Final funeral Rites Slated For March 17 At The Forecourt Of The State House

Final funeral rites of former Black Stars winger, the late Christian Atsu will be held at the Forecourt of the State House on the 17th March, 2023.

The family of Atsu and the Government of Ghana have had an agreement on the said date and the former Black Stars winger will have a befitting burial as agreed by the state and family.

Ex- Black Star players Asamoah Gyan, Samuel Osei Kuffour, Sulley Muntari and others joined the family of Christian Atsu at their former teammate’s one-week memorial today, Saturday March 4, 2023.

After several days of search of Christian Atsu following the earthquake in Turkey on February 6, 2023, Christian Atsu was found lifeless and confirmed dead on February 18. May he rest well.
