In a shocking incident that has left many stunned, a police officer has reportedly bitten off a colleague’s ear during a violent altercation at the Winneba-Mankessim barrier in the Central Region.

According to eyewitness accounts and preliminary reports, the incident occurred during a heated exchange between Lance Corporal Kennedy Baah and his senior officer, Chief Inspector Gati. The confrontation allegedly began when Baah shone his torchlight into Gati’s eyes, an act that reportedly triggered the argument.

What started as a verbal disagreement quickly escalated into a physical fight, culminating in Lance Corporal Baah allegedly biting off a portion of Chief Inspector Gati’s ear.

Sources indicate that both officers were on duty at the time of the incident. The injured officer was quickly taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment, while the matter has since been reported to higher police authorities.
