Potter Includes Enzo, Mudryk & Joao Felix In Chelsea’s UCL Squad, Drops Aubameyang 

Head Coach of Chelsea football club, Graham Potter, has unregistered Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Chelsea’s Champions League squad.

The English manager has included new recruits Joao Felix, Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk to the UCL squad with PSG transfer failure Hakim Ziyech also making the cut.

Ditching the 33-year-old striker from Chelsea’s European campaign exposes the striker’s declining status with the Blues. Aubameyang last started a game in November 2022.

Chelsea will play an away leg on February 15 against Borussia Dortmund at the last-16 stage of the Champions League. The home game is set for March 7, 2023.

Considering Chelsea’s current position ( 10th) on the English Premier League table and their unimpressive performance, winning the UCL competition this time seems to be club’s best opportunity of getting back into the Champions League for next season.
