In a significant event for the Christ Apostolic Church International (CAC INT.), Rev. Maxwell Osei was fully ordained as a minister during the church’s 67th Ministerial Council Meeting, held at the General Headquarters in Accra from November 6-7, 2024. He currently serves as the Residence Pastor at CAC INT. in East Hartford, Connecticut, USA, and he is not only proficient in God’s ministry but also holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Connecticut.
In his early years of education, Rev. Osei was trained at Abetifi Presbyterian College of Education, in Ghana, as a teacher and completed in 2012. During his years in ABETICOE, he served as PENSA secretary and the organizer for the SRC.
The Ministerial Council Meeting, a gathering of all full-time ministers of CAC INT., is an annual event convened in the last quarter of each year, following the church’s constitutional guidelines. This year’s meeting was dedicated to discussions on the church’s growth and development, with a strong emphasis on prayer for the peace and prosperity of Ghana.
Delivering the keynote address, Apostle Samuel Amponsah-Frimpong, the Chairman of CAC INT., urged ministers to use their platforms to encourage peace as Ghana approaches a major presidential and parliamentary election in December 2024. Apostle Amponsah-Frimpong also unveiled the church’s theme for 2025, “Arise and Build the Kingdom of God,” drawn from Nehemiah 2:17-18, inspiring members to renew their commitment to advancing the faith.
The occasion also saw the ordination of Rev. Osei alongside sixteen other ministers, who were conferred with full-time and honorary ministerial status. In his address to the newly ordained ministers, Apostle Amponsah-Frimpong encouraged them to view their ordination as a call to serve both God and the church with integrity and dedication in their communities.
Rev. Osei is married to Mrs. Deborah Efe Osei and has been blessed by God with two sons, Myles and Melvin.
