After attempting to ridicule the young security man at the gate of University of Ghana, Legon for doing his job, Reggae and Dancehall recording artiste, Emmanuel Andrews Sammini known by stage name Samini has said sorry to the noble Legon guard.
The Ghanaian musician was refused entry into the school campus because he left his entry pass behind. After several attempts to order the security man, Samini was denied entry because the guard believes in a working system.
Samini’s celebrity status could not do the magic, got disappointed and recorded a video of himself criticizing the guard for refusing him entry. The incident did not go well with netizen after they watched the video on Twitter – who in a turnaround roasted Samini for his undiplomatic behavior.
The “High Grade Family” member has considered the various comments by netizens right, and has used the same platform (Twitter’s) to say;
“After my post about the incident at the security gate I’ve realized majority of you advised that I should have done the right thing.Nothing makes my case right regardless of how many cards I have and how upset I got .#nocardnoentry Apologies to the young man doing his job.”
For a working system, all hands must be on deck regardless of social status. It is good he has apologized.
