Socialite Efia Odo Reveals Her Desire for Marriage Amidst Past Doubts
Ghanaian media sensation and socialite Andrea Owusu, popularly known as Efia Odo, has shared her earnest desire to find a husband and settle down. This comes despite her previous stance on love and relationships, which had been marked by skepticism.
In a recent interview with 3 Music TV, Efia Odo, known for her roles in acting and music, opened up about her longing for a life partner. Responding to host Jay Foley’s question, she stated, “Of course, I want to get married. Who doesn’t want to have that one person that they can be with for the rest of their life and share moments and grow old with? I don’t want to be alone.”
Efia Odo elaborated on her vision for an ideal wedding, describing it as an intimate event with close family and friends, potentially held in a foreign location.
Previously, Efia Odo lived in the United States where she worked as an assistant nurse before returning to Ghana to focus on her true passions: acting and music. Her move to Ghana has established her as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.
Last year, Efia Odo had publicly discouraged young people from pursuing love aggressively, citing her own struggles with toxic relationships and lack of self-love. She advised, “Don’t look for love. Let love find you because I was in that space where I wasn’t looking for love. I was done with men.”
She further shared her experiences of settling for less in relationships due to her desperation for love, which she later recognized as a mistake.
Efia Odo’s recent comments highlight a shift in her perspective, as she now openly expresses her desire for a committed relationship and a future partner.
