The direct family of the late Charles Kwadwo Fosuh has issued a firm statement addressing what they describe as ongoing misinformation and misplaced commentary surrounding the family and the funeral arrangements of the celebrated figure.
In the statement, the family makes it clear that Nana Yaw Akosah, widely known as Evangelist Papa Shee, remains a trusted confidant and the officially designated spokesperson for the family during this period of mourning. According to them, any public claims suggesting that he is “not a family member” or that he lacks the authority to speak on their behalf are false, misleading, and must be dismissed immediately.
The family emphasized that Papa Shee has been closely connected to the Fosuh household for many years and continues to play an active role in their internal affairs. They noted that he understands the dynamics of the family far better than “many individuals making unfounded allegations on social and traditional media.”
As preparations for the funeral continue, the Fosuh family is urging the public to respect their choices, avoid spreading misinformation, and allow them the space to mourn with dignity. They reiterated their appreciation to all supporters and well-wishers who have stood with them in this difficult time and asked that all official communications regarding funeral activities be channeled through their appointed spokesperson.
