Team On Trip From Accra To London By Road Finally Arrives In The UK [Watch Video]
After three days of adventurous expedition from Accra, the 13-member Ghanaian team of explorers have reached London successfully by land.
The trip comprised twelve men and a lady. They journeyed through countries like Senegal, Mauritania, Western Sahara, Morocco, Spain, France and finally reached the United Kingdom.
The journey covered 10,000KM and was inspired by the fact that many Europeans have embarked on this kind of trip from Europe to Africa.
In an interview with BBC, one member answered “Why Not” when asked about the reason for the trip. He added that it is also a means to gather Ghanaians in UK, solicit donations to support their philanthropic work.
“We are explorers and we are doing this for fun. We read about people driving from Europe to Ghana all the time, and we also planned to do it and we are almost there,” he said.
