Evangelist Diana Asamoah has said in an interview on UTV’s United Showbiz she was not spiritually grown enough when she condemned people who put on make up and women who wore trousers.
She said her current orientation of life about Christianity has exposed her to a lot of realities, that, to be a person of God is marked by what one does but not how one looks like.
The worshipper apologized and said she is correcting the wrong indoctrinated message she previously implanted in the minds of Christians.
“It is about growth in Christ Jesus. We condemned makeup and other things we thought of as worldly but now we have seen the light and realized that being Godly is more about your deeds and not about your looks. I’m correcting the wrong impressions and perceptions about being a Christian I planted into people with my current fashion sense.”
Evangelist Asamoah whose birthday is not known has taken to loving fashion and makeups in recent times. She has associated her taste of appearance to the new understanding she’s had in Christ Jesus.
“I still don’t understand why some Ghanaians are saying I have diverted because of my latest style dressing because I’m still committed to the work of the Almighty God.
“When you are not matured in the work of God, you may think anything that people do is a sin because God has not opened your eyes to see what is good or bad.
“My new taste for good dresses has not stopped me from serving my maker and I’m still winning souls for God just that people don’t understand me because they are not matured in Christianity.”
Evangelist Diana Asamoah who started doing music in the mid90’s has performed in a numerous countries part from Ghana, which include Italy, Belgium, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Austria, Holland, the USA, and Canada.
