VGMA24: Black Sherif Wins Artiste Of The Year Award
Mohammed Ismail Sharrif, popularly called Black Sherif has won the “Artiste of the Year” award at the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
The event which was held at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Center saw deserving competitors like Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, King Promise, Camidoh, Kidi, Piesie Esther, and Joe Mettle alongside winner, Black Sherif, all competing for the ultimate crown.
The âArtiste of the Year Awardâ became the fourth win of the night for the âKonongo Zongoâ hit maker.
The winners for the past decade have been R2Bees (2013), Shatta Wale (2014), Stonebwoy (2015), EL (2016), Joe Mettle (2017), Ebony (2018), Annulled (2019), Kuami Eugene (2020), Diana Hamilton (2021) and KiDi (2022).
