In some social media viral skits, TikTokers especially have embraced a challenge of creating video memes of a woman who dived flat unto a coffin that was ready to be covered with sand at the cemetery.
The woman who was of age shouted ‘ei father Bernard’ before unapologetically flying unto the coffin, ready to go with the dead.
What could cause someone this much pain to the extent of wishing to be buried with the dead? Who is this Father Bernard?
According to reports, Rev. Father Bernard Ackon was an honourable man of the catholic faith, St. John the Baptist Church, Saltpond in the Central Region of Ghana. He was so generous to the poor, needy, widows and orphans.
Unconfirmed sources say the woman who mourned Father Bernard bitterly to a state of desiring to join him in the grave was reportedly one of the widows to benefit from father Bernard’s generosity.
Further reports by social media commenters say the man of God unfortunately had an asthma attack and later died at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital after he was rushed there in the evening of February 21, 2023.”
