Wife of late Major Mahama to unveil memoir dubbed “RESILIENCE: Reflections from a Widow’s Diary “
Barbara Mahama, the wife of the late Ghanaian soldier (Major Mahama) who was allegedly lynched in 2017 in Denkyira Obuasi, is set to release a book which covers her experiences after the demise of her husband.
The book, titled “RESILIENCE: Reflections from a Widow’s Diary,” is expected to cover how the widow held herself together after the unfortunate loss of her husband. It is is set to be released on July 21, 2023.

Major Mahama met his untimely death when he was deployed to work in Denkyira Obuasi. A total number of fourteen suspects were said to have lynched the soldier on May 29, 2017. The suspects, including the Assembly Member of the town, are still proving not guilty to charges ranging from murder to conspiracy to commit murder.
