In the latest twist to the ongoing drama between gospel singers Diana Asamoah and Cecilia Marfo, Asamoah has fired back at accusations of sabotage. Marfo, who recently tearfully addressed the decline in her church membership, had pointed fingers at individuals, including Asamoah.
Defending her previous remarks on Angel FM, Asamoah emphasized, “She was relying on spitting in people’s mouths and using bread that had been smeared with sweat to run her church.” Asamoah warned that neglecting to give God the necessary reverence might lead to dire consequences, stating, “You will cry immensely, in fact, you will cry blood.”
Addressing Marfo’s reduced church membership, Asamoah remarked, “Even with the 40 members, she might lose unless she changes her mind and sticks to the word of God.” Drawing parallels to Jesus’ ministry, she added, “Even when Jesus started his ministry, He had 120, then it reduced to 70 and finally He settled with 12 but He didn’t cry because He knew the word of God and was not surprised.”
Asamoah concluded by challenging Marfo to align her actions with biblical principles, stating, “Who am I to collapse your church if you were doing the right thing? It is not about crying; if she wants her members to come back, she should work according to the Bible.”
The feud between the two gospel artists continues to capture attention, with followers eagerly awaiting further developments in this clash of faith and words.
