2022 World Cup: France Beat England To Reach Semi-Finals

The French Soccer team have walked over the three lions of England to book a place at the semis. The reigning champions won by 2 goals to 1. 

At minute 17 of the first half, Aurelien Tchouameni beat the goal keeper, Jordan Pickford, from outside the box with the right foot to give France the lead. Aurelien Tchouameni tripped Bukayo Saka in the 52nd minute to concede a penalty in which Harry Kane scored to equalize.

Olivier Giroud headed a cross by Antoine Griezemann in the 78th minute to give France a 2:1 lead.  Harry Kane from England tried to intercept the ball but his effort failed.

The captain of England, Harry Kane, missed a penalty in the 84th minute that could have given them a life into extra time. France won!

Both teams could have won but France managed to grab the victory. France will face Morocco on Wednesday evening.
