Tragedy struck in the main township of Konongo when a fuel tanker, suffering a brake failure, collided with two vehicles, claiming the lives of two individuals and leaving others injured. The incident, which has sent shockwaves through the local community, occurred on Wednesday November 6, 2024.

The accident unfolded when the tanker, unable to slow down, swerved in a desperate attempt to avoid a catastrophic crash.
