The National Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP), Mrs. Gertrude Quashigah, has passed away at the age of 63. Mrs. Quashigah, the wife of the late Major Courage E.K. Quashigah, former Minister of Health and Agriculture, had been at the forefront of the GSFP since her confirmation as the substantive national coordinator in 2020.
Beyond her role in the GSFP, Mrs. Gertrude Quashigah was a notable figure in the hospitality industry, serving as the chief executive officer (CEO) at Ambar Quality Foods Limited.
