The English Premier League (EPL) for the 202/2023 season swings back on Friday, 5 August with a London derby between Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
Arsenal start first home game on the following weekend against Leicester City and then meet with Bournemouth (away), Fulham (home) and Aston Villa (home) – all in the opening month, August.
Defending Champions Manchester City start their Premier League season defence at West Ham on August 7.
Bournemouth begin their campaign with a home match against Aston Villa on August 6. Earlier that day, newly promoted side and last season’s Championship winners Fulham face a frightening clash against Liverpool at Craven Cottage which kicks off at 12:30pm BST.

Chelsea play Everton on Saturday 9 August at 5.30pm. It is then Tottenham (H), Leeds (A), Leicester (H) and Southampton (A).
Manchester United begin the 2022/23 Premier League season with a home game against Brighton & Hove Albion. The Seagulls will reach Old Trafford on Sunday 7 August.
