Gospel Minister, Esther Smith has revealed that she left her previous marriage with Rev. Ahenkan Bonsu to prevent herself from meeting untimely death.
The evergreen singer said in an interview with One Ghana TV that she had to apply common sense and move away from a situation that was not favorable.
“My situation would have turned out just like the lady who died in Nigeria, Osinachi’s death. I had to quit. God has given us brains with common sense which we have to apply. I can not go into details but I had to quit“ – She disclosed.
She added her ex-husband later accused her of committing several acts after breakup because he was bitter.
“It (divorce) won’t make the person happy, so they will have to frame stories you know nothing about to tarnish your image. I kept quiet because I am not good at talking back at people. I had to keep quiet. That was what happened,” – Esther Smith.
The revered song writer revealed she has eight albums comprising eighty tracks to her credit since she started doing professional music from the year 2000 till date.
