Nana Yaw Boakye, known popularly as MOG Music has stated he was addicted to Masturbation for over over five years.
The Ghanaian Pastor, Song Writer and Contemporary Gospel musician shared his secret past life when he was interviewed on the Delay Show.
According to the musician, friends have caused him to involving himself in a lot of social vices; to smoking, to drinking and to masturbating. A friend who was in the Boys’ school introduced him to getting sexually gratified through self-stimulation – using soap to ejaculate without necessarily having s3x with a woman. He was a virgin when he was introduced to the act.
“He showed me how to masturbate and why I would not need to have s3x to feel okay. I masturbated throughout secondary school,” – MOG Music revealed.
He added the desire to applying soap to masturbate became stronger when his faith in Christ also grew stronger.
“When I gave my life to Christ, the desire became stronger. I confided in our prayer secretary on campus, he declared seven days of fasting and prayer, but it did not work. A pastor I confided in also declared 21 days; it also did not work. I could stop for a week, but when the desire comes back, I do series of masturbation to compensate the days I missed doing the act”.
After he was asked about how he stopped, he said a fervent prayer with the help of the Holy Spirit helped him to quit the act of soap s3x.
“One day the desire came. It was strong. I went to the bathroom ready to apply the soap, and the edge of regret came. I prayed a sincere prayer and was delivered.”
This experience has really thought the man of God a lesson. He said he has no friends, that he is very careful about who he calls a friend due to what his childhood friends caused him to do. His wife has become his only true friend in which he confides in.
