Mother Dumps Newborn Baby At Pastor’s Doorstep, Leaves Suicide Note
A mother, name not given, has abandoned her newly born baby at the doorstep of a man of God, of the New Covenant Apostolic Church at Ahodwo.
The mother left a suicide note when the pastor and his team found the baby on the morning of Sunday, July 16, 2023.
The begging mother beseeched the pastor to take good care of the 1-day-old baby even as she plans to commit suicide after the delivery.
“By the time you finish reading this letter, I will be dead and gone. Please take care of this baby as your own child. Please, I regret doing this, but that is the only way this baby can have a chance to live. Please she was born yesterday night. Please take care of her. I’m sorry; please forgive me. God bless you”, the note read.
The occupants of the mission house quickly reported the incident to the Ahodwo police station, a suburb of Kpong in the Eastern Region.
