Turkey Earthquake: Christian Atsu Is Found Alive
Christian Atsu is said to be found alive following reports that he was trapped under rubble after an earthquake in Turkey.
The player, 31, who currently plays for Hatayspor in Turkey was caught up in the 7.7 magnitude earthquake on Monday.
The Ghanaian forward has now been rescued from the rubble and has been moved for immediate medical treatment after suffering injuries to his right foot and breathing difficulties.
Award-winning sports journalist, Saddick Adams has also said that Ghanaian forward Christian Atsu who has since been reported trapped under rubble has been found.
According to the Ghanaian sports analyst a teammate of Atsu has reported this but the club is yet to officially make a stement.
“I’m still in contact with Christian Atsu’s management. A teammate of Atsu has confirmed to them, the player has been found and taken to the hospital.
But they expect an official statement from his club soon. Prayers still with him and everyone. Trust God he is safe” – Saddick Adams said in a social media post.
