Showbiz, July 6, SIXSCRIBES – Nana KWAME, one of the prominent panelists on Agoo Showbiz has stated that, it is never possible for a developing artiste to gain mainstream recognition when the artiste constantly spends a lot of time at some addictive places like marijuana joints.
In his submission, responding to Empress De Queen, the indefatigable host of Agoo Showbiz on Agoo Fm 96.9, the Nkawkaw based panelist reiterated that for an upcoming artiste to become known, he/she needs to go through certain processes- by constantly exposing oneself to learn from the right people and creating networks.
“when you have the talent: you sing, you are a DJ or you host shows…any of them joined to make the Showbiz. Getting the talent and working with the talent start from somewhere. When you have the talent and you don’t get support, you’ll continue to be stuck at one position. You need to positively place yourself to be recognized. When you are an ‘undergee’ artiste and constantly sits at smoking base, you’ll forever be an ‘undergee’ because that place is an underground” – Nana Kwame.
He said this when responding to what a creative artistes can do to be educated on the field of work and manage their talent for progress.
