Kwahu: Nkawkaw Church Of ‘Pentecost IWC’ Wins 47 Souls On Easter Saturday
As part of the fun strategies to fulfill the greatest commission of Christianity, Pentecost International Worship Center (PIWC) Nkawkaw, participated in a mountain-climbing exercise from Nkawkaw through to Obomeng-Kwahu dubbed: “The Coconut Walk,” to observe the Holy Saturday.
The event ended successfully as 47 people gave their lives to Christ during the altar call led by the Resident Minister, Pastor Benjamin Asare. Eleven of the recorded souls underwent water baptism, an indication of the impact of the event.
Free coconuts were given to participants and all people available at the converging point of the walk.

“…Thanks to all who walked with us (full vim), our sponsors and all who played various roles… God bless you”, the Resident Minister, Pastor Benjamin Asare sent his heartfelt appreciation to all who made the maiden Easter walk a success.
Prior to the healthy activity which multi-purposed as creating fun for all and most importantly reviving members and drawing non-believers to Christ, a lot of social media publicity was made to invite others who were not members of the church to participate in the walk.
In videos seen on PIWC-NKAWKAW’s YouTube and TikTok accounts, members invited co-workers, family and friends to be part of the church’s introductory edition of Saturday’s event.
Below are some photos from the walk:
