Prez Akuffo-Addo & Ex Prez Mahama Pray For Christian Atsu
Ghana president, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo and former President Mr. John Dramani Mahama have sent heartfelt prayers to Christian Atsu.
Hatayspor and Ghanaian forward Christian Atsu has still been trapped under rubbles after an earthquake in Turkey last night.
According to reports, over 2300 people have been confirmed dead with others injured.
Turkish media outlets have also reported that Atsu’s teammates are trapped under rubble after an earthquake.
Goalkeeper Ahmet Eyup of Yeni Malatyaspor is said to be buried beneath the debris.
Former President John Dramani Mahama has added his voice to the fervent prayers Ghanaians are making for former Black Stars player Christian Atsu.
“Let’s continue to pray for our brother, Christian Atsu, and his club director. The city of Hayat is in the region affected by the earthquake. Let’s continue to pray that God spares their lives.”Mahama said in a post on Twitter,
Ghana President Nana Akufo-Addo has sadly sent heartfelt sympathy to Turkey after the horrific earthquake that took many lives and reportedly trapped Christian Atsu under rubble.

Hatayspor Spokesman Mustafa Özat has updated that the club has still not located the Ghanaian.
“We were unable to contact Christian Atsu. His building was completely destroyed; let’s see what happens next.” – Mustafa Özat
