He appreciated the opportunity given him to serve the Republic of Ghana
Details of the letter below:
“Your Excellency,
It is with a heavy heart and a sense of regret that I write to formally tender in my resignation from my position as Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Ayawaso Central Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, due to ill health.
Over the past six and half years, it has been my privilege and honour to serve the government of Ghana and contribute to the progress of the Ayawaso Central Constituency. However, my current health condition has significantly affected my ability to fulfill my duties and responsibilities effectively, despite my best efforts.
The nature of my illness requires extended medical treatment and a period of rest and recuperationAs much as I would like to continue serving in my role, I believe it would be in the best interest of the Municipality to have someone who can continue to maintain the high standards and efficiency that our government demands.
I take this opportunity to express my warmest and most heartfelt gratitude to Your Excellency, for the opportunity you gave me to serve my beloved country Ghana and the support had during my tenure. It has been an honour to serve under your able leadership”
