NDC National Executives Election: Full List Of Winners; Ofosu-Ampofo Congratulates Asiedu Nketia And Pledges Support For All

The 10th National Delegates Congress of the New Democratic Congress (NDC) was held at the Accra Sports Stadium over the weekend to elect executives for the party.

Former General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, beat the incumbent, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo by a wide margin to become the new National Chairman of the party.

Fifi Fiavi Kwetey also won the General Secretary role. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah and Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, aspirants for the respective National Chairman and General Secretary roles of the NDC were both No. 2 on the ballot paper of their respective contests.

Mr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, in his congratulatory message to all winners, chastised any form of ‘inner vilification’ and pledged his readiness to support the party for the collective agenda to win 2024 election.

“I re-dedicate myself to the bigger task of working for victory 2024 and pledge my unalloyed commitment to work even harder for the party together with the elected National officers, and the rank and file of our great party to achieve our ultimate goal of regaining power from the NPP in 2024.” Mr. Ofosu-Ampofo said.
